Randy Shaver Author of JDS Most Cited Paper
According to the Web of Science, Dr. Randy Shaver’s article on “Effect of cereal grain type and corn grain harvesting and processing methods on intake, digestion, and milk production by dairy cows through a meta-analysis” is among the 100 most highly cited papers published in Journal of Dairy Science (JDS) since the beginning of 2013.
In the current edition (2015) of ISI’s Journal Citation Reports, 58 journals are ranked in the Agriculture, Dairy, and Animal Science category. In this category, JDS ranks third by Impact Factor (2.408), third by 5-Year Impact Factor (2.854), and first by Eigenfactor Score (which removes self-citations). The journal has been publishing more articles and pages each year; for 2016 we are on track to publish more than 10,000 scientific pages in the journal. Thank you for your contributions. JDS continues to be highly ranked in the Food Science and Technology category, too. The journal ranks 28th out of 124 journals in that category.
